Domain Name Registration
A Domain Name is a unique website address. An example of a domain name is www.yourbusinessname.com.au. Finding a unique domain name is difficult due to the large number of domain names already registered world wide.
Choosing a good domain name will help your customers find you and will also improve the amount of traffic to your site. We can help you find a domain name for your business.
Once you have chosen a domain name it needs to be registered. Annual fees apply in order to keep the domain name registered. As always, at Invent Media we take care of all the details and will register your domain name for you.

Website Hosting
In order to view website on the internet, the files that make a website must be stored or "hosted" on a server. This is call "website hosting". This server is visible to internet users who then access the websites files in order to view the site. Invent Media hosting servers are located in Sydney and not overseas.

Web Design and Development
The development stage of the process is the actual design and build of the site. For development costs you will be provided with a quote based on the work required. Costs vary depending on the size, complexity, and the time to build the site.
Development costs may also be for major changes to the site, for example adding a new page or feature to the site. Typically, anything that doesn't fall under maintenance of the site would be development.
Maintenance
Maintenance is the day to day changes made to the site in order to keep it up to date and running. Website maintenance is charged at an hourly rate. Anything beyond the scope of maintenance falls into the development category. Most sites need very little or no maintenance once they are up and running.
Advertising
As with all modern media good a product will generate interest on its own. At Invent Media we maximize the chances that your site will get high search page ranking and generate traffic without the need for any extra advertising. If you choose to, there are ways you can increase the traffic to you website through advertising. Adverting is usually expensive. At Invent Media we try to eliminate the need for extra adverting through good site code and design. Most customers do not require any extra advertising.
